What You Can Expect in Your New Role

Research about discrete methods in algebraic geometry (Haase group). Teaching in English, after one year also in German.

The activity serves to further one's own academic qualifications.

Key Requirements

Completed university degree (Diploma/Master) in mathematics or a comparable foreign university degree.

Desirable

  • Research experience in one or more of the following subjects: convex polytopes, algebraic geometry of toric varieties, combinatorial commutative algebra, tropical geometry, combinatorial Chow rings.
  • German and English language skills at level B2/C1
  • Gender and diversity awareness.
